I’ve run across a few posts recently on religion in schools and the separation of church and state. So I thought I’d consult one of my favorite theologians to see what he has to say on the subject. And, as usual, he offers some penetrating analysis of a difficult subject.

Mark,
My church supports a ‘scripture teacher’ for the high school (financially) along with a few other local churches. I disagree with the notion that ANY religious practitioner be let loose on my child – other than our family values which happen to Christian.
Surely other parents have the right to feel the same?
