Forget TULIP, Give Me BACON

If you live in 17th century Holland, it’s fine to summarize your theology using flowers. But in 21st century America, we prefer our theology a little meatier, and saltier, and greasier. So forget the five points of TULIP, here is the new creed for the Five Strip Baconist!

Many thanks to Brian LePort for pointing this one out. Made my morning.

Rick, thank you for commenting, but we’re not going to discuss another blogger here. I know that you have thoughts about the blogger in question, and I’d invite you to continue the conversation on that blog if he is interested.

Thanks Marc. He’s not. I would think posting the BACON parody is fair game for Calvinists’s but, unfortunately, when an Arminian posts it, you have to wonder about intention. If I post on Brian’s blog I am, as he said, ‘poisoning the well’. Calvinist voices are clearly neither discussed, welcome nor allowed on Brian’s blog.
