The most significant change is also the one that I hope will impact you the least. I’ve moved the blog from it’s original location (westernthm.wordpress.com) to a new domain (marccortez.com). The old address will automatically redirect to the new one, so you shouldn’t have any problems there.
If you’ve subscribed to the blog, thank you! Here’s what you need to know.
- RSS Subscribers: Your feed should update on its own. You can subscribe to the new feed if you’d like, but you shouldn’t need to.
- Email Subscribers: If you’ve subscribed via email, though, you will need to re-subscribe using the form in the sidebar. It will only take a second, and I promise it won’t hurt.
- WordPress Followers: If you’ver followed the blog through WordPress, I have no idea how this is going to impact you. I hope that you’ll still receive notifications, but I can’t make any promises. You may want to consider subscribing through another method just in case.
I’ve also changed the name of the blog. Scientia et Sapientia had the distinct disadvantage of being both difficult to pronounce and nearly impossible to understand. Not very helpful as a title. I played around with a few other titles (including “Marcsism”), but I decided to go with something that captured what I enjoy the most: connecting biblical/theological truths with everyday life. So Everyday Theology it is.
I think that’s everything you need to know for now. Let me know if you have any problems, if you think something should be changed, or if you just want to suggest that I add something. I’m always open to suggestions.
