Western Seminary is putting together a new blog that I think you’ll find very interesting. Drawing on our “faculty and friends” as contributors, the blog will cover a range of issues relative to Bible, theology, and ministry. The blog’s five primary contributors will be me, Bill Mounce, John Johnson, Bev Hislop, and Chad Hall. And, we’ll be supplementing that team with guest post from a broad range of other Christian leaders. It should be fun!
Here’s the initial announcement. As you can see, the blog will launch next Monday. So, stay tuned for more information.
Ministry. Theology. Justice. Leadership. Whether we work in churches for a living, volunteer in service to other communities, or minister in the workplace, we need to know about these things. Most importantly, we need to know about the gospel and its significance for all of life.
The faculty and friends of Western Seminary are working together to provide a new resource for you: a blog devoted to thinking through the implications of the Gospel for everyday life and ministry. We will wrestle with the hard questions, the kind that challenge life and faith. And, we’ll connect these questions to the pressing issues you face every day.
This new blog will launch on Monday, October 31. We invite you to read, comment, and share about the posts you find there. And, to celebrate the launch of this new blog, we’ll be giving away a number of outstanding new books. Stay tuned for more information….
