For your Sunday afternoon browsing pleasure:
- Daily Kos has a fascinating post arguing that our universe is actually an “artificial” universe produced by a “creator” living in some other, more original universe. (It’s actually much more complicated than that, but that’s the best I could do in one sentence.)
- Jesus Creed has a brief comment on two books by Luke Bretherton about what Christian participation in the public forum should look like today. He’s apparently arguing for Christian hospitality as a better alternative than appeals to natural law, power politics, or separatism.
- Not that I’m surprised, but I just found out that ABC has canceled Flash Forward. I knew I shouldn’t have started watching this one. They also canceled Scrubs, but I stopped watching that a few seasons back.
- If you’ve been staying up at night worrying about whether your cell phone is giving you brain cancer, a new study has found…nothing. So, you will have to keep worrying for a while longer.
